The Ojibwe had a unique strategy for protecting their land and life ways throughout American colonization and the treaty period. Come learn how the Ojibwe kept land on the seven largest lakes in Minnesota, a living language, the first modern representative tribal governance structure in Indian country, and a host of cultural and economic activities to sustain their people thought the ages.
