Native American cultures contain a unique toolbox to help professionals coach their clients in dealing with trauma and cultural disassociation. Native Americans also have distinct experiences that impact social service work. Come learn more from and about the first people of the land. In addition to a thought-provoking challenge to our prevailing assumptions about social services, this session is also designed to provide a meaningful opportunity for participants to expand their cultural awareness and competence in dealing with a unique population of often-marginalized clients with greater efficacy.
