Anton Treuer will be facilitating a private training for the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) which will focus on how to fund programming, outreach, and service to Native people and organizations. Topics will include avenues for identifying, applying for, and successfully receiving funding opportunities that advance Native/Indigenous initiatives, including navigating funding sources (federal, Tribal, foundation, and private), building competitive proposals, and leveraging resources to sustain impactful programs.
