The effects of massive traumatic events often reverberate beyond those who are directly impacted. Collective emotional and psychological injury endures over lifespans and across generations. This historical unresolved grief often manifests in a number of behaviors and emotional responses. Many of these reactions are often seen in child welfare and other legal issues. With an eye on what can be done to better identify and address historical trauma response, Dr. Treuer will share his unique perspective on the topic across affected communities.
