Professor Anton Treuer, Justice Alan Page, Minnesota Humanities CEO Kevin Lindsey, and Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari join forces to evaluate and strategize about what is driving racial disparities in education in Minnesota and how we can effectively overcome all barriers.
Please join Dr. Anton Treuer, retired Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page, Minnesota Humanities Center CEO Kevin Lindsey, and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari for a community conversation about how we support our youth in Minnesota to achieve their full potential.
The time is now to address inequity and ensure that all Minnesota children can reach their highest self and lead in our society, democracy, and economy.
They will examine and discuss:
Where we are now – Minnesota’s statewide education disparities facing children of color, and Indigenous and low-income children.
How we include every child – ensuring that all children are welcome and can find success.
Building a strong system of the future – building a child-centered education system of the future through the Page amendment, the proposal to create a civil right to a quality public education.
