  • University of North Dakota Memorial Union Room 220 Grand Forks, ND United States (map)

Join us at the University of North Dakota, Memorial Union Room 220, for a special Indigenous Peoples’ Day event featuring Dr. Anton Treuer—author, historian, and cultural educator. In his talk, Dr. Treuer will explore the deeper meaning of Indigenous Peoples’ Day and why it matters not only for Native communities, but for all people. He will invite us to reflect on history, resilience, and the ongoing contributions of Indigenous nations, while sharing insights on how this day can be a catalyst for truth, healing, and mutual understanding.
