Healthy nations and healthy workplaces depend on our ability to communicate across differences, navigate conflict, and share space with one another. Drawing on the traditional Ojibwe teachings of the loon and the crane, Dr. Anton Treuer presents an Indigenous framework for understanding different communication and leadership styles. Participants will learn practical tools for recognizing their own communication patterns, understanding those of others, addressing conflict constructively, and reducing lateral violence. The session offers a culturally grounded communication toolbox designed to help employees move beyond fear and division toward stronger relationships, greater trust, and a healthier workplace culture.
